Received a call … Mom’s blue
Dolls … lost … not new
I listen … attentively
Making sense … ultimately
You miss your … kids 1-2-3
Not us … your baby … dolls
Frustrated … you can’t see
Frantically buzzing … busy bee
Wide-eyed … they’re in sight
Can’t move … left or right
Waiting … (shall I say) patiently
For you to see them … directly
Finally, nurse Charla saves the day
Babies found … sweet bouquets!

yes, it was funny when the nurse called and said my Mom missed me, after talking to Mother, I ascertained it was her baby dolls she missed, she lost them in her room (in plain sight), poor thing was beside herself!

Ah our most precious possessions…..I know that Al has ha lot to do with how Mom feels about her dolls but I also have my two softies that I like to take to bed..I cannot sleep without my furry dog stuffed under my chin….so like Mom , when they disappear somewhere in the night(usually on the floor) there is a mad scramble to retrieve them and put them back where they should be…so in many ways Mom and I are much alike
