A journey in time with Alzheimer's

Momma bear

Mirror … mirror on the wall … who’s the image standing tall
Watching over fragile minds … always gentle … always kind
Caring for … vulnerable souls … fidgeting… out of control
Endless walking halls … giving a nudge … when memory stalls
Scrambling to tidy a room … when occupant is moody ‘n gloom
Who matches socks ‘n shoes … ties laces … no I.O.U.’s
Cleans tables … floors … removes debris from corridors
Smiles on a rainy day … comforts … chases blues away
Gives dignity … a helping hand … changes thoughts … no reprimand
Lifts spirits … a warm embrace … compassion … commonplace
Mirror … mirror … you know it’s true … the Alz team’s many not few
My mind rests easy … in their care … my Mom’s a cub … the image:
Momma bear!

that is really beautiful. love the image of Mom being Bear Cub and those taking care and loving her Momma Bear…..but this is the way it goes, a change of roles, as sad as it is…love to you all and a big HUG for the Bear Cub
