Mother’s … fast asleep
Scattered stuff in a mess
Simply shows … idleness
Looking for a lost shoe
Guess it got away from you
Pillows blankets in a chest
Odds ‘n ends … make a nest
Faces framed … on the wall
Near a pillow … Mary doll.
