Mary needs a bath … stuff … on her clothes
Many days comforting … why dirty? Heaven knows!
So … to my house we go … enjoying the ride!
Mary’s in the washer … missed by Momma’s side
Confused … frowning … here comes … Lady Blue
Distressing … angry … in a rage … she flew
Desperately needing time … to do … the task
A call for reinforcements … a sibling … to ask
Please call Mom … she’s not happy … with me
Need time to finish Mary’s bath … don’t you see
So the youngest … my hero … stepped up today
Diverted her attention … eleven minutes … anyway
I secretly take Mary from the dryer … oh me!
Her arm is not attached … to the bedroom … I flee
Faster than a bullet … fix the dryer’s … casualty
Bring Mary to my Mother … she finally smiled at me!
Actually … it was Mary … her friend … don’t you see
Who brought a smile to Mother … who smiled at me!

i know just how Mom feels…I take to bed one soft teddy, a furry puppy, and a brown head neck pillow with polystyrene beads inside…. cannot sleep without them

Waiting for a special friend always seems too long. Glad Mary is clean and fixed again and Mom is happy again. ❤ ❤ ❤
