Dilemma … keeping … Mother … safe
From … who … what … you say
From others … going her way
From strangers … sharing her lot
Alzheimer’s forget-me-nots
Fragile minds … flowers … askew
Sanity’s train … way overdue
From … herself … oops
Fell … off balance … to the floor
Which direction … to her door
Suspicious … fearful … scared
Where’d they put her stuff?
Short term memory gone … enough!
Makes a sane person … nuts
Thinking stuff … stole away
Looking for it … every day
Here … now there … or was it?
Who … keeps Mother … safe?
When … I’m not … around
Caregivers … defend her ground
Child like innocence … abounds
Alert … listening … every sound
Something’s wrong … in hot pursue
Troublous forget-me-nots … taboo.

poor Mom , it must be like a pit of darkness, when you cannot see a way out…I pray for her daily and for you and your family as there is not much else that can be done, only support and love
