A journey in time with Alzheimer's

Shoo Fears

Strong … powerful minds … lost … over time
Pondering … yesterday … shoos happiness away
I can care for … myself … I do believe
The Alzheimer’s mind … works to deceive
Over and over … you’ve heard your story
Again and again … forgotten … it all
Am I tired of repeating myself to you?
Telling fib-lets … and trying to stall?
Definitely … exasperating … tears!
But … I’m just watching … you’re
Tormented … with … fears.

very good…I always put my lack of remembering down to the fact that I am so intelligent, and have so many memories tucked away , that my brain does not always manage to know where to find them
Not true of course , but its better than saying I am forgetful and that old age is the reason
