Lucid Lucy … positive you … happier thoughts … no hindsight blues
Can’t erase … can’t undo … eyes forward … smiles ensue
Lady Blue … opposite way … morbid thoughts … thru the day
Worries … frets ‘n stews … feeds … sad … Lady Blue
Patience wane … frustration grows … escalation … caregiver woes
Distractions failed … where’s the key … unlock Blue’s … misery
Wait … protect … no confrontation … acts of kindness in succession
Sometimes sleep … scares her away … awakens … Lucy … hooray!
