A journey in time with Alzheimer's

Lost At Sea

Finally still … “now what to do?”
Sad words … heard … from you
Waiting for signals … master plan
Needing, not wanting, a helping hand
Delusions … ponder … the day away
Living … always … in yesterday
I can do whatever … I want
Confusion nudges … unkind taunt
Lost … beginning … to end
Light-years … around … the bend
Let’s set a course … sail it thru
Oops … lost at sea … impromptu!

  1. i have got to a stage in my life where I DO WHAT I WANT TO DO AND SAY WHAT I WANT TO SAY…so many years have passed by when I have failed to speak up and be heard or afraid to do something in case it offends others….Now I think To Hell with it , there’s not much time left so go and do it and then go and say it…freedom at last
