Spuds

Few meals … complete
Without potatoes present
You’d … miss them
Wouldn’t be … as pleasant
Gravy … would be nice
Piled upon … the cloud
Not … marshmallows
But probably … allowed
Thankful for … spuds
You like them  …  it’s true
Piles of … potatoes
Makes  a spud of you.
