Keeper … of memories … sanity
Guards the past … streets of old
Seldom forgets … stories foretold
Alzheimer’s tempts souls to play
Abyss coaxed … light-years away
Sanity patiently waits to remember
Memories … smoldering … embers.

i ten to forget now and again and I know what it feels like when I KNOW I know the word, phrase, date (whatever). Of course it it temporary. I cannot imagine being lost there for always. Frustration central. 😦

age makes us all forget things that we try to remember. Sometimes I know exactly the word I want to use but just cannot recall it but it is not like Alzheimers, it is just old age.
My theory is that because I am so intelligent and because there are so many ‘information boxes’ in my brain , that it takes time to find the right one. Fortunately I have my hubby who gives me help or I use my Thesaurus.
Have a good day Sheila’s Mom and lots of love
