I lost you, nowhere to be found
My heart sank … to the ground
Rapid heart beat, the whole enchilada
Canvassed the house …streets …nada!
Around the bend … comes a friend
Found you , guessing game’s …end
Milk in one hand , chocolate the other
You’re safe … from harm …I sigh …Mother!
God’s been good to us today …Lady Blue ran away
ANGELS …neighbors …near …A BLESSING …CRYSTAL CLEAR!

When I get an urge to scoop Mother up and bring her back to our home, I read earlier poems and remember that stress, and after prayer and pondering with my Lord, I sigh, we’ve come so far. It’s like the first day of school all over again and I’m worried for her. What’s happening with her, then I remember the nurses and aides at the HOUSE, how caring and protective they are of their patients and want no harm to come to any, and I can sleep again. She’s as safe as we can make it for her. I can walk beside her, but I can’t walk in her shoes!
Caring Is Sharing
