A journey in time with Alzheimer's

No turning back …I sing to me …as Mother gets …distraught

Stand firm …   rants  ‘n  raves  …usually  for naught

No reasoning  … her delusion… my …  conclusion

Angry …I don’t want to  be …between  God and me

Escalating  … blown away …the INTENSITY

Distracting … CAN  find … something new

Probably  … NOT  … strong as nails …she’ll chew

Spit me out …toss me down …analogy …impromptu

Let’s do this, ask or model, encourage, praise … crow …you’ll swallow

You see my friends, we‘re  there …the day after tomorrow!
