A journey in time with Alzheimer's

One Way Street

At the height of your delusions
Confusions …are there
No telling why you see
Or hear …what I …do not
I feel your frustrations
I see your lot
You’re remembering more
Askew …than you ever forgot
No way to ease your pain
No way to lighten your load
A   one way street
Lonely …bleak …cold!
