Watch and waiting, too hard for me
Dear God make her happy, as can possibly be.
Please bring her calm, in this Alzheimer’s storm
Return all lost thoughts, where they belong.
Don’t let her suffer, bring peace to her heart
And relief to her mind, a do over, a restart!
Why must she be, unmindful of life
Why must she suffer, all of this strife?
I’m just asking, it’s hard to know
Why anyone should suffer so!
Please hold her in your arms real tight
And give her a good night’s sleep tonight!
I pray tomorrow will bring a new day
When Alzheimer’s moments will be…blown away!

A repost from the beginning, so relevant over the past month. My daily prayer.
