A journey in time with Alzheimer's

New Shoes

Need to replace your worn out shoes
No thanks…you say…they’re fine
But, soon you’ll have holes
It’s only a matter of time.

Several weeks go by
You’re steadfast, so am I
So, I take matters in hand
I say, a sibling has a plan.

He says, I must buy you shoes
It’s time for new tread
He won’t take no for an answer
Yep…that’s what he said!

So, to the store we travel
You’re easy enough to please
You like what you find
We’re done…surprisingly with ease.
