A journey in time with Alzheimer's

Tangled Memories

To the back of your mind
To the wall of your heart
Are glued all memories
From ending to start.

To decipher between them
Or pull them apart
Brings chaos and sadness
To everyone’s heart.

My face now belongs
To somebody’s aunt
My name’s splattered
All over the matte.

Voices…my sisters
Now play in your head
You say that’s not them
When it is…like I said.

You rode a bike with my
Brothers!….whoa!
Heaven knows
Unlikely….I know!

These tangled memories
Play out true
Or so they do
….to you.
