A journey in time with Alzheimer's

Let It Go

Excuse me, but yes you did, I saw you
No Madam, I know what I know and I did not
On and on we go in a circle.
I know better than to argue, don’t I?

I see you perturbed and disturbed
You can’t remember, so it didn’t happen
What on earth do I do with this
I know… let it go!

Oh,  the weather outside is frightful
The  conversation is not delightful
So whatever I  want to know
Let it go, let it go, let it go!

It doesn’t have to make sense
Many things right now don’t
So, I swallow hard and know
I must remember… let it go!
